The icon of modern Urdu poetry was born in 1931. His poetry is very popular among youngsters. He was famous in poets as an angry man. The verses written by him are also used in different songs. He got Pakistani great honor Hilal-e-imtiaz. He shifted from home town Kohat to to Peshawar and it was a major change in his life. He was called upon in the foreign as well. Those who used to listen him, they started loving the great man. He wrote many novels and books which are popular in home country as well as in the foreigners. He applied for a job but unfortunately was not called even for an interview. Although he lived a very difficult life in London but later on was appointed as chairman of “national book foundation” by Benazir Bhutto. He worked on many topics like society injustice and other humanity related themes. He was a natural and God gifted poet. Everyone was found to be listening and reading to his romantic verses.
