Hassan Abedi was born in Lucknow on 14th may, 1922. He was M.A in English literature. He began his career with Habib Bank in 1940 and started to work as general manager. He was a great patriot. He was personally responsible for a large number of Pakistani working in the field of banking. His personality was very nice. He undergone a heart transplant operation in 1988 and died of a heart attack on August 5, 1995 in Karachi. He was the person who promoted UBL. He got a chance to meet with the president of Bank of America. This meeting was conducted for 5 minutes initially but it went for 45 minutes. He made a foundation which was for the purpose of serving the third world countries. He had the capability to judge the persons by just looking at them for the first time. He loved the homeland a lot. He made a motto to employ 80 percent Pakistani in his organizations. He proved it and remained committed to it. He had his own definition of management.
